Final credit Fonts

Emma showed we in our media lesson the fonts that she had found on www.dafont.com and we chose the best one which we felt fits our film better. Below is a picture of the font.

Below are the actual words in the font that we are going to use in the film opening. We both felt they fit the synopsis and genre best and fit our shots with the editing and the colour of the scenes.

Filming Day #4

On sunday we completed the last scenes that we had left to film at my house. This involved out innoccent victim actors Nicola Ho - http://nicolaastleyasmedia.blogspot.com/ - Chloe King - http://chloeastleyasmedia.blogspot.com/ - and Tayla Powell - http://taylaastleyasmedia.blogspot.com/. The scenes we shot were Scene 7, Shot 1 Scene 8, Shot 1 and Scene 10, Shot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6. Below are the aspects we had to cover before filming:

  • Health and safety. in a picture below showing with tayla being thrown against a wall in which we used a soft pillow on her back to cushion her fall as we did many takes of this scene.
  • Props and distractions. In my room i had many up to date technology and band posters which are very recent and not in 2001 which we then had to become aware of.
  • The other people. We had to make sure that noone was in the house as we needed silence for the most part of filming. We had to make sure all of our actors were free to film.
We only had a certain amount of time to film in as our actors also had filming to do for their own media film. we filmed all the scenes with actors in first and then did the silent shots when the house was free. The overall day was successful and was our last day of filming. Below are the pictures from the day.

Finished Title/logo for Necrophobia

Below is a picture of the finished title/logo of our film. We used a font from a website and then i edited it on Pixlr.com to add the red effects to tie in with our film with the horror aspect. We had a draft before which is the first picture but then decided to make it better and more proffesional with editing on a software.
This is the first draft that i created on paint

This is the finished product that i used editing on Pixlr.com

Filming Day #3

This is the third day of filming that we had done. This was set in the fields of Margaret lloyd and woodhall farm corn fields. We shot Scene 6 Shot 1 and 2, and Scene 10 Shot 7. We needed to film with our three victims that are the innoccent teenagers. Below are the main issues we had when filming.

  • Public area so other people in the area. We needed to make sure that dog walkers or people into our shot or the noise affected the filming.
  • Weather. As we filmed outside we needed to make sure that it was dry so that we could use the equipment without using coverings and that it didnt affect the quality of the scenes.
  • Health and Safety. When the girls had to run as it was muddy we had to make sure they had sutiable footwear on so that they did not slip over and hurt themselves.
We had to film all the girls sepreatly running for 2 scenes of 2 seconds so we filmed all three of them so that we could edit them when we cut the final opening. As it was cold we tried to film effectively quite quickly so that when we came to filming the actors didnt lose enthusiasm. Below are some pictures from the day.

Action plan 7

This week we are going to:

  • Decide on which Credits font we are using

  • Make a good start on our editing of our film

  • Think about starting our evaluation process
